I love Duponts. Ive had a Gatsby for a very long time, but they are very expensive and they need special gas. This lighter is much cheaper than the legacy line of lighters from Dupont (still a lot for a lighter though) and it works great. Just be careful when trying to light it upside down because the lighter locks for safety, and if you force it the gear that opens the doors for the lighter nozzle will break off teeth. If it does lock up on you just flip it rightside up, give it a gentle shake and it should work fine. When you get this lighter if you shake it gently it will sound like there are loose parts inside; this is not the case, the safety lock for the doors is what makes the noise, and its perfectly normal. Bottom line, this lighter is great, and its a Dupont for 100$!
