I have always loved clipper lighters because if you take care of them they can last a long time. Now that I have a metal one I should have this one forever. Absolutely love it!I'm impressed looks awesome adjustable flame and fits in my toker poker real nice. I'm a happy stoner. Buy it!I like almost everything about this lighter. It's satisfyingly heavy, it feels solid, and I just really love Clipper lighters. I bought this one so I could justify sticking to one lighter in order to reduce my plastic waste. Unfortunately a pack of like 5 replacement spark wheels is the same cost as a 6-pack of plastic clippers or something, and these wheels wear out every 6-8 months or so for me.Anyway I think it's safe to expect the $20 stainless steel version to function as good/better than the plastic counterpart, however I find the plastic ones to lighter more consistently. This lighter suffers from an issue I see with a lot of refillable lighters where you go to ignite it after a little while and it fails on the first try and works on the second. For some reason excess pressure builds up in the lighter and it needs to release a little 'puff' of butane to reduce that pressure before it will light. Is this a big deal? Not really.Does the lighter still work? Yes it does.BUT, do I need a $20 steel version of my plastic Clipper? No.And does it sting a little every time I have to strike this premium fancy lighter twice instead of just the once with the plastic version? Sure does.TLDR; I have to either purposely bleed some butane before igniting or try two or three time to get a flame. I wish Clipper would just sell packs of replacement striking wheels on Amazon as reasonably priced as their complete plastic lighters as it's cheaper to replace the whole plastic lighter than just replacing the wheel.Claims to come with a second flint, even shows one in the images of both lighters, you get a different package altogether, lighter only. They didn’t even send me the right one. Complaints aside it’s still a quality lighter that I’d recommend, the marketing of it is unfortunately, very scummy. Would be 5 stars if it came with what it said it did and matched the images of what I purchased. The color being wrong I can get over, though it’s still infuriating coming from a brand like clipper, I expected better. Would still recommend if your luck is better than mine.I've bought these before years ago, and it wasfantastic, lasted until I lost it or someone took it. These ones were plastic? I believe.. I just bought this one its metal, feels sturdy, i seem to remember the plastic ones were able to do one extra thing, ie pull flint out and use that to pack a joint or blunt, refillable. Adjustable. And im pretty sure it was able. To crush pills? The shape on the bottom of it made it like that, anyways not the point. This one i just bought, this metal one lit 3 or 4 cigarettes. So about 4 or 5 flicks and then kaput. No longer worked, changed the flint, refilled the butane, no longer works. I was pretty disappointed. The plastic ones were better back when they first came out im sure you can still get those ones. So I contacted the seller and they refunded my money back, so I could have just got a defective one these things worked great back in the day. I'll get a plastic one before trying the metal one again. Hope this helps ,Hands down best Clipper ever. You can feel the difference in quality/durability with this and the standard plastic ones just by holding it. If you are on the fence, just buy it you’ll be happy you didLights on first spark just about every time, it replaced my zippo and it’s the perfect size for packing my bowl, it does not die after 5 minutes you just need to fill it with butane, great lighter and it came 2 days sooner than expectedLighter feels solid, and lights every time.I was looking for a nice soft flame refillable lighter,I think this one is a winner!
