This is an awesome table lighter. It is way too big to be used as a pocket lighter. The five jets are overkill, but sometimes overkill is good. The lighter reminds me of the light sabres from Star Wars. The fuel tank is huge and the lighter can go a very long time between refuelings. The tank size mitigates the lack of a fuel window. I am never a fan of the integrated punch on some lighters and that applies to this lighter as well; but I just ignore the punch. Build quality is second to none. I love this lighter!*** update August 2018 ***I have had the lighter for a bit over 18 months so I thought I'd give you an update. The 5 star rating still stands. After 18 months the lighter is still performing as it did on day 1. So it really is as well constructed as it looks. The center jet is a very little bit askew, instead of pointing straight up, it is off by a few degrees. It took me several months to notice this and it's not a big deal, but it is the only imperfection I have been able to find.. The lighter will stand on its end but it is very easy to knock it over. I lay the lighter down flat.when I'm not using it. While the trigger is close to the top, it stays cool during use. That is really nice and I wish I could say that about all of my lighters. The lighter works fine to light, say, a 50 ring gauge. I would never use it on a cigarillo though. It's really too much for use on on smaller cigars. Starting at roughly ring gauge 60 it becomes the only lighter for me to light a cigar. Those big ring gauges often canoe and then they might need a touch up. This is too much fire for a touch up so I keep a duo jet light with me for touch ups. The reservoir is so large that I can light a box of cigars without a refill, but a fuel window would be nice anyway. This lighter is the only quin-jet lighter that I have found. I still love it and I still recommend it.I chose this lighter because its unique and there's nothing like it. It definitely is a head turner and when you want to impress your Boss, well...this is what you use!! LOL! The 5 star rating is for the lighter not for Mikes Cigars. I will give Mikes Cigars a rating below...Mikes Cigars did deliver as stated with only 1 problem. They used UPS to deliver to the nearest post office and then had USPS deliver to my house?? It didn't make sense but when tracking the package, the tracking number said it was delivered but then stalled a day because Mikes Cigars wanted a signature. Its great that they wanted a signature but why didn't they just keep UPS as the deliverer? all this confusion had me driving back and forth to the post office and calling UPS all day to straighten the whole mess out. I would have given Mike cigars a 5 star rating but now is only getting 4 due to the small snafu. Get that straightened out guys! I love the selection of lighters you have at your store!The lighter broke easily!!This is simply a great lighter. It holds a ton of butane, it’s well built and comes with a lifetime guarantee.Update, I returned lighter. It broke after one use!The downside is its heavier than I thought it would be and its bigger in diameter than I thought it would be. I had its predecessor The Chairman and it was lighter and smaller in diameter, longer though. It extended to hold a cigar and had a carbon fiber outside it was also double the price of this one. Nevertheless the Diplomat is the 2nd nicest lighter I have ever seen or own! It's a 'conversational' piece! And it's unique! That's what makes both of the lighters.
