The piezoelectric ignition went “slack” and stopped putting up resistance, as if a spring had broken. It only lights sporadically.The exact same thing occurred with the replacement.These folks DID send me a replacement after the first lighter died, after Amazon’s “30 day return Wall of Death” had expired, for which they deserve credit.I now have to try and get a refund, because both lighters I had broke quite soon, which is simply unacceptable for a $60 lighter. Yeah, I know, it’s not a super expensive item. But it should Still Work after a few months of light indoor usage.I will update if I can get through to vendor or Colibri Corporate.Update, Vendor said in a polite email that they have issued a refund.I think the vendor is great. Both times I had an issue they swiftly made things right. So, 5 STARS for the vendor, 1 star for this model lighter. I would suggest a different Colibri lighter, since a few reviews complained of quick breakage.When this lighter worked, it was quite nice, and it is a disappointment that it failed quickly.I’m probably going to pick another lighter from this vendor, after reading the reviews carefully. Their prices seem to be on par with other vendors.
